We want to ensure that you receive the correct chronic medicine at the right place and time.
That is why our chronic medicine designated service provider (Chronic DSP) medicine deliveries are governed by a courier integrated tracking system indicating the progress of a parcel as it is en route to its destination. This way you are guaranteed a hassle-free, convenient delivery service.
Places where medicine can be delivered for your convenience are:
Home address: The parcel will be delivered at a home address between 8h00 - 17h00. No parcel can be left in a residential post box or at a location without getting a signature. Please note that someone 18 years or older has to sign for the parcel.
Work address: You must provide us with the name and contact telephone numbers of an alternative person to sign for the parcel if you are not available.
Doctors rooms: Please ensure that you confirm with the doctor's rooms if we may deliver your medicine there. You must provide us with the name and contact details of the person who will be signing for the parcel at the doctor's rooms.
Other: Your medicine can also be delivered to a friend or family member's home or work address if you choose this option. You must provide us with the name and contact details of the person who will be signing for the parcel.
Emergency deliveries: In the event that you or any of your beneficiaries need to have chronic medicine delivered as an emergency, Medipost must be contacted on 0860 00 4367. Your call will be routed to the Customer Contact Centre who will help you.
Your medicine delivery will take place within 48 hours after dispatch. This excludes weekends and public holidays. Deliveries are done from Monday to Friday between 08:00 - 17:00.
You will receive an SMS with the parcel tracking number once your medicine has been dispatched.
