The bid documents can be requested electronically at any time but will be distributed during office hours, which are between 08h00 and 16h30, Mondays to Fridays, excluding public holidays. Completed bid documentation must only be submitted in electronic format as per the bid document instructions. No hard copy submissions will be considered.Closing Date: 01 September 2026 Time: 11h00

The time stipulated is in accordance with Telkom time, available by dialling 1026. Further submission details are contained in the bid document. Submission will be strictly electronic to the relevant email address. No late submissions will be considered.

THE APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER TO PROVIDE TRUSTEE ELECTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR THE GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES MEDICAL SCHEME (GEMS) FOR A PERIOD OF TWO (2) YEARS, AFTER WHICH MAY BE ANNUALLY RENEWABLE FOR A MAXIMUM PERIOD OF THREE (3) MORE YEARS

Compulsory Briefing Session:

Time: 11h00 to 12h30

Attendees joining the session more than 15 minutes after the starting time noted, i.e., after 11h15 will be deemed not to have attended the briefing session.

Prospective service providers are required to register their details on the ProcureWise system under “briefing session” section by no later than 10h00 on 03 September2026, indicating whether they will attend the briefing session.

Bidders will be provided with a link via email from the ProcureWise system to connect and join the session on confirmation of attendance.  Attendees must have their own copies of the bid document at the briefing session.

The bid documents can be downloaded electronically from the ProcureWise system at any time. Completed bid documentation must only be uploaded to the ProcureWise system as per the bid document instructions. Submissions made through any other mechanism, will not be considered.

The time stipulated is in accordance with the time on the ProcureWise system, which has a built-in timer aligned to SAST/ UTC+2. Further submission details are contained in the bid document. Submission will be strictly electronic via the ProcureWise system. The ProcureWise system does not make provision for the uploading of any documentation after the closing date and time.
