Required service description:

Only bidders with a proven minimum of 51% black ownership will be considered for this bid. The rest of the other B-BBEE requirements will be covered in the bid document.
 

Non-compulsory Briefing Session:

Prospective service providers are required to notify the relevant person at the respective email address indicated below for this requirement, before 12h00 on 14 December 2021 whether they will attend the briefing session. Queries received from Monday, 13 December 2021 till Friday 17 December 2021 at 16h30, will be responded to within the indicated timelines. Query consideration will thereafter only resume on Tuesday 04 January 2022.

Pre-qualification criterion:

Bidders must commit, over and above all other B-BBEE requirements, to spend at least 30% of its fees paid by GEMS, on B-BBEE subcontracting with further options and conditions detailed in the bid document. The bidder must also commit to, if successful, purchase pharmaceuticals from B-BBEE pharmaceutical companies, as further detailed in the bid document.
