APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER FOR THE ONCE-OFF AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE FIREWALL INFRASTRUCTURE CONSISTING OF HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE FOR THE GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES MEDICAL SCHEME WITH A MAXIMUM OF 5- YEAR SUPPORT

GEMS has advertised the tender for GEMS/FirewallReplacement/2023/CON007 with the closing date of 14 June 2023. Due to technical problem, we encountered during briefing session on 25 May 2023, the new briefing session date is 05 June 2023 from 11h00-12h30. Attendees joining the session more than 15 minutes after the starting time noted i.e. after 11h15 will be deemed not to have attended the briefing session.

Prospective service providers are required to notify the relevant person Sandra Mupfururirwa at the respective email address at CON007.23FirewallReplacement@nexia-sabt.co.za, before 10h00 on 2 June 2023 whether they will attend the briefing session. Bidders will be provided with a link to connect and join the session on confirmation of attendance.  Attendees must have their own copies of the bid document in the briefing session. 

The new closing date for this bid is 23 June 2023 at 11h00am.

NOTIFICATION OF SECOND BRIEFING SESSION AND CLOSING DATE EXTENSION

APPOINTMENT OF SERVICE PROVIDERS TO PROVIDE INTERNAL FRAUD FORENSIC PANEL SERVICES FOR THE GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES MEDICAL SCHEME FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR COMMENCING 01 SEPTEMBER 2025, WHICH CONTRACT MAY BE ANNUALLY RENEWABLE FOR A MAXIMUM OF TWO (2) MORE YEARS

NOTE: Kindly note that this compulsory briefing session must only be attended if the provider did not attend the first briefing session that was held on 09 May 2025. However, all providers are welcome to attend the second briefing session should you wish.

Appointment of a service provider for the provision of Systems Quality Assurance Services for the Government Employees’ Medical Scheme for a period of one (1) year commencing 01 October 2023, which contract may be annually renewable for a maximum of (2) two more years

Pre-qualification criteria: 

GEMS will only consider bids from bidders who are EMEs or QSEs and who have at least a proven minimum of at least 51% Black ownership in terms of B-BBEE

The time stipulated is in accordance with Telkom time, available by dialling 1026. Further submission details are contained in the bid document. Submission will be strictly electronic to the relevant email address. No late submissions will be considered.
